We as guests were happy about the extra steps Red Robin was doing for cleaning/disinfecting tables, servers and other employees wearing masks, etc.we asked by phone before coming to dine. and the unmasked groups were led through the dining area to their seats. My family has been going to the valley Red Robin for YEARS! Four of us went there yesterday evening for a birthday dinner, and were extremely unhappy and disappointed to see quite a few groups enter the building without masks on and nothing was said. I told the managers I wanted my daughter to be comped another burger for a birthday redo and they said they couldn't. Not like it was a special occasion at all. My daughter was in tears due to her birthday being ruined by being treated that way. My daughter didn't notice until we drove off, so we went back to complain.1st we met with an assistant manager (I guess, both of the Manager's we spoke with had their name tags turned around so we couldn't see them) who only took the $1.62 off and said she could do nothing else. I complained to him, he said he took off the upcharge, but still charged an extra $1.92 for the burger on top of the beer. So he was trying to charge my daughter for that when she clearly ordered the Impossible Burger menu item, not another burger with that substituted. Ordered it as a Red Robin Burger with the $3.50 upcharge instead. Put in the wrong order for my daughter's. Didn't ask if we needed more fries, water, or anything. Our whole experience was ruined by Cameron our awful waiter.
